Dr. Khaled Tewfik Zaki

With more than 30 years of planning and design experience, Dr. Khaled is regarded as expert in educational and health care architecture and sustainable developments. Dr. Khaled has led a number of landmark and specialist projects within Midrar, as well as within his previous engagement as the Director of Design and Architecture at ZFP. Dr. Khaled has special expertise in educational and health care projects, the latest of which was leading the planning and design team of phase 2 of Umm Alqura University, at Makkah, and the planning and design of King Khaled University at Abha during his previous tenure as ZFP. Further, Dr. Khaled lately led the effort to develop a new 250 bed hospital in Jeddah, with a new vision for preventive care. Dr. Khaled enjoys a leadership personality and an eye for identifying project development strategies. He holds a Masters and Doctor of architecture degrees from the University of Michigan, USA.
